We coordinate an annual exhibition of featured and juried artists inside the July San Diego Pride Festival in Balboa Park. We seek to provide low cost display space to a variety of LGBT artists and their allies and to provide a relaxing cultural oasis inside the festival grounds.
INTRODUCTION: Beautiful art under San Diego's Blue Skies
For many years San Diego LGBT Pride offered a unique venue to local artisits. They could display their works under the beautiful trees of Balboa Park and promote the mission of San Diego's LGBT Pride Events. Six years ago Judy the Beauty on Duty at the Big Kitchen and Jeane pulled artists together under the name of "Art of Pride". Art of Pride could provide a single area for viewing art offerings. The generousity of San Diego LGBT Pride Organization has allow Art of Pride to offer affordable space to self-representing artists.
We are looking for artists!
Schedule your exhibition at the San Diego Pride offices or start planning your booth for the Festival. Both are great ways to get your work seen.
