The Art of Hal Frederick Liebowitz
In 2013 Art of Pride received an endowment of 8 original painting by the late Hal Frederick Liebowitz.
Liebowitz was a paraplegic artist and composer who lived most of his life in New York City. This collection represents the unique style of the 1960's America.
Art of Pride was happy to donate Family Nudist and three others to the Lamda Archives of San Diego, California. Sultry and Muscleman have gone to private collectors also in California.
If the remaining two, Man and the untitled woman in blue are sold proceeds will benefit future activities promoting LGBTQ art. They may also be placed with an archival association.
